Rob Schwenker is Vice President and General Manager, Precision Components at Cirtec Medical, where he leads strategy, operations, and growth initiatives for the company’s metals, silicone, and elastomer business. With more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, Rob has built a strong track record partnering with global OEMs to deliver innovative component and materials solutions that support next-generation medical technologies.
Prior to joining Cirtec Medical, Rob served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Components & Device Business at DuPont Healthcare Solutions. Earlier in his career at Spectrum Plastics Group, he held several leadership roles including Vice President of Liveo Healthcare Solutions and Vice President of Sales for Specialty Molding and Fluid Management. Before Spectrum Plastics, Rob spent many years with Saint‑Gobain Life Sciences, where he ultimately led the company’s medical components business.
Rob’s strengths in commercial and strategic leadership are complemented by a deep foundation in application engineering, project management, product development, and materials science. This combination has enabled him to take a solution-forward approach, helping customers accelerate innovation while building long-term partnerships.
Rob holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. Originally from the Adirondacks of upstate New York, he has lived in Austin, Texas for more than 20 years with his wife and their two daughters. Outside of work, Rob enjoys cycling, running, photography, and birding.
