Michael leads Cirtec Medical’s global quality assurance and regulatory affairs organization, overseeing teams across nine U.S. facilities and two international sites. Since joining the company in December 2020, he has driven key quality and compliance initiatives that support the development and manufacturing of complex medical devices.
With a strong background in regulated industries, Michael has held leadership roles at Abbott, St. Jude Medical, IMRIS, and Nortech Systems. He is recognized for building effective cross-functional partnerships and is a committed advocate for quality, regulatory excellence, and customer success.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He is certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence, Quality Engineer, and Six Sigma Black Belt. He also holds the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) for medical devices and has completed advanced coursework toward a Master’s in Regulatory Affairs at St. Cloud State University, where he also served as an adjunct instructor.
Outside of work, he enjoys a variety of activities that keep him busy including golf, biking, and swimming.
