Asheesh Divetia, PhD, is the Head of Engineering and Technology at Cirtec Medical, where he brings over two decades of leadership in medical device innovation, product development excellence, and global technological strategy. With a deep commitment to advancing healthcare technology, Asheesh has built a distinguished career focused on delivering high-impact engineering and manufacturing solutions that drive growth and improve patient outcomes.
Joining Cirtec nearly 18 years ago as a R&D Engineer, Asheesh has risen through the organization steadily, taking on roles of increasing responsibility including Director of Engineering and General Manager. Today, he leads Cirtec’s engineering and technology operations across 10 global locations, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and technical capabilities.
Asheesh holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. His leadership is characterized by a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, scalable innovation, and building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional results in a highly regulated industry.
In his free time, Asheesh enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid hiker and cyclist. Besides engineering and technology, Asheesh is also passionate about theater and performing arts and likes to volunteer with local community theater groups.
