Robert McCormack joined Cirtec Medical in April of 2026 as our General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. He brings more than 20 years of experience advising medical technology companies on complex legal, compliance, risk management, and strategic matters, with a strong track record of supporting innovation and growth in highly regulated environments.
Most recently, Robert served as General Counsel of Paragon 28, Inc., where he played a key leadership role in guiding the company through its successful merger with Zimmer Biomet. Prior to that, he held executive and senior legal positions at ViewRay Inc., The Spectranetics Corporation, General Electric Healthcare, and Covidien. Through these roles, Robert led global legal functions, strengthened compliance frameworks, and partnered closely with executive teams to mitigate enterprise risk while enabling significant worldwide expansion.
Robert began his legal career in private practice, focusing on corporate law, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general business matters. His breadth of experience across both public and private companies has equipped him with a practical, business-oriented approach to legal leadership.
He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Based in Colorado, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. Outside of work, he is an avid reader, skier, and traveler.
